All orders are shipped from Germany. For this reason, no customs duties or import taxes apply to orders within the EU and the USA. However, such costs may occur outside of the EU and the USA.
For countries outside the EU and USA: If customs duties are incurred, these go 100% to the customs authority of the recipient country and must be borne by the customer. If you refuse to accept the package, the fees will still be charged. In the case of a return, these will be deducted from your refund by DHL.
